Arshad Warsi, widely known for his role as ‘Circuit’ in the film Munna Bhai MBBS and other comedic films, has become the first Indian celebrity to buy a Toyota Hilux pickup vehicle.

The actor was recently photographed taking delivery of the vehicle at his Mumbai home. He went with a bold, emotive crimson. Toyota Hilux prices range from Rs 30.40 lakh to Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

About the Car

The Toyota Hilux is powered by the Fortuner’s 2.8-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, which generates 201 bhp and 420 Nm of peak torque in the manual variant and 500 Nm in the automatic variant. Driver-support features on the Hilux include hill-assist, downhill assist control, an electronic stability programme (ESP), and a differential lock. It also has a 700 mm water-wading capacity.

The interior of the vehicle resembles the facelifted Toyota Fortuner. It has an all-black interior with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated seats, cruise control, front seats that can be adjusted electrically in eight different ways, app-based connected car technology, and a wireless charger, among other features.

Arshad Hussain Warsi (born 19 April 1968) is a Hindi cinema actor, playback singer, television presenter, producer, choreographer, dancer, and writer. He has received various Awards, including a Filmfare Award from five nominations, and is known for his work in a variety of cinema genres.

Before making his acting debut, he worked as Mahesh Bhatt’s associate director in Kaash (1987) and choreographed a song in Roop ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. Warsi made his acting debut in 1996 with Tere Mere Sapne, which became a box office triumph.

He co-starred in the TV series Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny (2003) with Karisma Kapoor and served as a judge on Zara Nachke Dikha in 2010. Warsi has been married to Maria Goretti since 1999, and they have two children.
