Pawn Star’s Fame Rick Harrison’s son, Adam Harrison, died on January 20 at the age of 39. His death was reportedly caused by a heroin overdose. The exact date and location of his death, as well as the substance involved, are now unknown. The case is still being investigated, according to TMZ.

Laura Herlovich, Harrison’s representative, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: “Our family is deeply grieved by Adam’s passing. We ask for privacy as we mourn his passing.”

Sharing a picture of him with his son, Rick wrote, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam (sic).”

However, Adam never appears in the series. He apparently worked at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop prior to the show’s debut in 2009. He was not associated with the shop in recent years and avoided the business.

A spokesman for the Pawn Stars reality star confirmed to the news site that Adam died of an overdose. The family found out about this today. Adam, one of Rick’s three sons, has often kept a low profile in relation to Rick’s show and store. Rick has three boys: Adam and Corey with his first wife, Kim, and Jake with his second wife, Tracy.
