Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, recently uploaded a video of an exceptional suite on social media. But there’s a catch. The video depicts a luxurious underwater hotel.
The underwater hotel is named The Muraka and it is located in the Maldives. The Muraka, located 16 feet below sea level, provides a one-of-a-kind experience of sleeping beneath the ocean surface with a breathtaking view of marine life.
Despite its attractiveness, Mahindra expressed reservations about spending the night in this submerged suite. He jokingly stated that he would most certainly stay awake all night, frantically searching for fractures in the glass ceiling.
In a Twitter post, Mahindra wrote “The Muraka was the Maldives’ and the world’s, very first underwater hotel suite. I was sent this post with a suggestion that a stay here would ensure the most relaxed weekend rest. To be honest, I don’t think I would get a wink of sleep…I would stay awake looking for cracks in the glass ceiling”.
