‘Animal,’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, is approaching the 500 crore milestone worldwide. On December 1, the film was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

While Vanga, who previously helmed ‘Kabir Singh,’ is being chastised for celebrating misogyny and violence, the picture is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Domestically, the film has grossed over 280 crore in many languages.

‘Animal’ was in difficulties with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) before its release, and the filmmakers were ordered to alter some scenes and replace profane words. The Censor Board later cleared the picture with a ‘A’ certificate after the producers made five important adjustments.

Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra also star in the action-crime thriller. The story follows a terrible connection between a son and his father. The plot of the film is mostly around the son, played by Ranbir, who seeks vengeance for his father’s murder.
