Hyundai has started building anticipation for the impending 2024 Creta, which is set to go on sale on January 16th. Bookings are currently open, with a 25,000 deposit required. The outside and interior of the Creta facelift are expected to undergo significant changes, with the manufacturer providing a sneak peak into the revised cabin.

Hyundai has teased the appearance and inside of the upcoming Creta facelift, which are unique to India, ahead of its formal introduction and launch on January 16. It gets big cosmetic upgrades, a lot more tech, and the turbo-petrol engine returns.

The dashboard design of the forthcoming Hyundai Creta is more simple this time around. The dual 10.25-inch screens are significant, and the touchscreen infotainment system is expected to feature a new user interface.

The Hyundai Creta has continuously been among the top-selling SUVs in the Indian market during the previous three years. The Creta has retained its appeal, with over 9.5 lakh delighted consumers choosing it. The forthcoming Creta will compete with vehicles such as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Tata Harrier, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun when it is released.

Hyundai Creta exterior updates

The outward modifications appear to be as complete as facelifts allow. A revised grille, headlamp, and bumper assembly give it a more upright and boxy appearance. The main LED headlamp cluster is now rectangular and vertically positioned on the bumper, with a full-width LED light band that terminates with inverted L-shaped pieces at the edges. The grille, like the lower half of the bumper, is now rectangular with three horizontal slats and seems much more blocky than before.

The rear receives a fully new tailboard, full-width LED taillamps that mimic the front-end design, a reworked number plate housing and a beefier bumper. While these photographs do not show the side profile, we anticipate it to be virtually unchanged, save for a new set of alloy wheels.

Engine options for the Hyundai Creta facelift

The 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines will remain under the hood of the Creta facelift, with a manual gearbox as standard and CVT and torque converter gears as options. The turbo-petrol returns in the form of the 160hp, 1.5-litre engine, which replaces the now-discontinued 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and will most likely be available with both manual and DCT transmissions.

The Creta will be available in seven trim levels (E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, SX(O)); six mono-tone colour options (Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey); and one dual-tone colour option – Atlas White with Black Roof.

The interior of the facelifted Hyundai Creta has been revealed.

The interior modifications are considerably more extensive. The dashboard is completely redesigned, featuring dual 10.25-inch linked screens – most likely the same one used in the Kia Seltos. The dashboard wraps around the screens very beautifully, and the AC vent on the passenger side is now integrated within a gloss black horizontal band on the dashboard.

The centre console has been updated with revised central AC vents, a single band of physical buttons, and what appears to be a touch panel for HVAC controls. It is, however, not the switchable panel with rotary physical dials seen on the Verna. There are also new storage compartments, and the most notable feature additions will be an ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, and dual-zone climate control, among others.
