The Hyundai Creta 2024 sports a new dashboard incorporating a 10.25-inch touchscreen that combines with the new 10.25-inch digital driver display from the Alcazar.

The redesigned Creta is slightly more expensive than its predecessor, with an increase of Rs 13,000 for the base model and Rs 80,000 for the top model. Despite this, it is still reasonably priced in its category.

Hyundai Motor India has introduced the Hyundai Creta 2024 facelift in the nation, with a starting price of Rs 10,99,900 (ex-showroom). The top-spec edition of the mid-size SUV costs Rs 19,99,900 (ex-showroom). Prices are introductory and only good for a limited time.

Inside, the Hyundai Creta sports a new dashboard with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that integrates with the Alcazar’s new 10.25-inch digital driver display. When the indication is turned on, the screen displays footage from the blind-view monitor in one of three themes. The centre console has been overhauled with controls for the new dual-zone climate control system. The interior also has brighter colours and copper accents.

The rear of the interior has mostly remained same, with the addition of new USB Type-C charging connections. The boot volume has remained constant at 433 litres.

The Creta continues to amaze with features such as a motorised driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, an onboard air purifier, an electronic parking brake, adjustable rear seat backrests, rear seat headrest cushions, and rear sunshades. A 10.25-inch digital display, a touchscreen that supports 12 regional languages, a new 360-degree camera, and an excellent Bose sound system are all part of the gadget suite. The automobile also includes linked tech capabilities, such as a new Jio Saavn music streaming app and the ability to remotely monitor your vehicle via the eSIM-based setup.

The 2024 Creta’s appearance has been totally changed, with a bigger grille and a new lighting scheme that incorporates LED daytime running lights, sequential indicators and a light bar above the grille. The main quad-LED headlights are now mounted lower on the bumper. The rear end has also been redesigned to be more angular, with complete LED tail lights, a full-width LED light bar, and a new bumper. The only difference in the side profile is the new alloy wheels.

The new Creta comes standard with six airbags across all models, as well as radar and camera-based ADAS in higher-spec vehicles. The ADAS suite has 19 capabilities, including automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and lane keep assist. Hyundai also claims to have strengthened the body shell at vital locations to improve collision safety.

The Hyundai Creta facelift comes with three engine options: 1.5-litre MPi petrol (115PS and 144Nm), 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol (160PS and 253Nm), and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (116PS and 250Nm). The 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or an IVT automatic, the 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT automatic, and the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
