Sunny Deol, who is now enjoying the success of his new film Gadar 2, may be in financial difficulty, as his opulent Juhu house has been placed up for sale by a bank after he allegedly failed to make payments totaling more than Rs 50 crore. The bank made the e-auction public by publishing it in a newspaper. Scroll down for more information.
Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has grossed a stunning Rs 336 crore and is on its way to joining the exclusive Rs 400-crore club. Gadar 2 is projected to earn 30-40 crore at the domestic box office in the coming days.
In other news, Sunny Deol’s Juhu mansion is going to be auctioned off by the Bank of Baroda. According to the bank, Deol has failed to make payments totaling 55 crore, and so his opulent Sunny Villa will be auctioned on September 25. According to public records, Ajay Singh Deol aka Sunny Deol borrowed Rs 55,99,80,766.33 from Bank of Baroda. The notice further disclosed that the actor in this case was also the guarantor. The bank is now eager to recoup the funds. Sunny Villa is purportedly Sunny Deol’s office, and it houses Sunny Super Sound, which serves as a preview theatre, as well as two other post-production suites. If reports are believed the office was established in the 80’s.

Sunny Deol mortgaged his studio in 2016 to generate funds for his second directorial endeavour, Ghayal. He made the decision at the time to take out a loan against his property with the purpose of repaying his lenders.
